Come help the Intermediate and Advanced classes of the MMS Instrumental Music program kick off this year’s festival season on the evening of Tuesday, March 3rd! Admission is $5 per person of middle school age or older. There is no admission charge for children of elementary school age or younger. Your admission is good for both concerts that evening. MMSIM t-shirts and hoodies will be available for purchase. Please note that students participating in their class’s annual spring trip must wear an MMSIM top at all times during the trip, and the t-shirts and hoodies meet this requirement!
The Pre-Festival Concerts kick off a season full of performances of our festival repertoire and serves many purposes. An important function of the Pre-Festival Concerts is to allow parents/guardians to hear their students’ work from this season in a formal performance setting. Parents/guardians are discouraged from attending the festival performances during the school day on Friday, March 13th (unless you are volunteering). The vast majority of parents/guardians will also not be chaperoning the spring trips in April. Therefore, the Pre-Festival Concerts are your primary opportunity to hear the finished products of this season’s work!
